HOSTEL RULES AND REGUATIONS:
ADMISSION:
1. Application for admission shall be made in prescribed form which can be had from the hostel office.2. Admission shall be made on the basis of merit of each application and no reason whatsoever will be for the rejection of application.
3. Only the students who sign the special declaration agreeing to strictly abide by the regulations of discipline mentioned therein will only be admitted.
4. Students are strictly advised to pay the mess bill promptly before 15th of every month. Defaulters will not be permitted to dine in the mess.
5. The caution deposit will be returned to the students only after the audit of the account is over.
6. Any inmate wanting to leave the hostel in the middle of a semester on his own accord, he must submit a letter to the warden and must vacate the hostel only after getting permission from the warden. No refund of room rent will be made in such cases.
ALLOTTMENT AND MAINTENANCE OF ROOMS:
1. Members should occupy the rooms alloted to them.2. The furniture alloted to the room should not be removed from its place.
3. Each room will be provided with furnoture items and tube lighs. The occupants are responsible for the safe return of the same in good condition at the time of their leaving the hostel.
4. Students should take great care in keeping their money, valuables etc in safe own custody. The authorities are not responsible for any loss.
5. The walls of the room and surroundings shall ne dept neat and tidy ny the occupants.
6. No meeting should be conducted in the hostel without getting prior permission of the wardon.
7. Use of transistors, radios, T.V of iron box os strictly prohibited.
MESS:
1. The mess is vegerarian. Eating non-vegerarian dishes is not permitted.2. The mess timings are follows:
7.00 A.M to 8.30 A.M - Breakfast
12.45 P.M to 1.45 P.M - Lunch
7.00 P.M to 8.30 P.M - Dinner
3. Members other than representatives shall not enter the kitchen or stores or give orders and/or directions to the cook of other servants.4. Compliants or representations must be made to the warden only.
5. Making noise with plates and tumblers is strictly prohibited.
6. The students should maintain silence and decorum in the dinig hall.
GUESTS AND VISITORS:
1. Members wishing to entertain guests must get the permission of the Deputy warden.2. A guest will not be allowed to stay in the room for rent for more than 3 days.
3. Lady vistors are not permitted in the hostel.
4. The Deputy warden has full powers to refuse accommodation to the guest.
REDUCTION:
1. No mess reduction will be allowed unless the absense is for more than 15 days.2. Every member shall report to the Deputy warden in writing the days of this leaving and return.
3. Full rebate is not allowed when the mess is running.
STUDY HOURS:
1. The students are to be in their rooms for study from 8.00 P.M to 10.30 P.M ; 4.30 A.M to 8.00 A.M2. Attendance will be taken every day at 9.00 P.M. Absentee will be fined. A habitual absentee will be sent out of the hostel.
